This is a really cool drawing, everything is really dynamic and very a e s t h e t i c a l l y pleasing.

Damn psycho doing cute shit, I like it!

I'd say that the caption is some bullshit, these are cool, you don't need a blue print direction for your art. Just keep drawing cool shit and relax! You'll get better doing it regardless,

Marklikeart responds:

Yeah probably. Some days you just want to shove an knife through your skull though

This is super inspiring, and as someone that would like to get into painting I'd love to hear (or see) more about how this transformation went,

SimonT responds:

Thank you very much! I can share with you little bit more, however I am not at home right now, so I can send you some more stuff after i get home:))

I'm a fan of you art and have been for a while as your quite talented, I just don't understand why (lately) you draw the same thing time and time again. You seem to usually draw a generic girl, with a pastel colour palette and no background. But your older drawings like 'the faun' and 'Jetpack' are quite the opposite, and are more visually engaging as a result. Is this just what you prefer doing or is there some other reason?

graskip responds:

I don't really have any good ideas recently, I guess. Also, I'm shit at backgrounds, which is why I don't do them.
I really appreciate the feedback though, thanks!

I really like the stuff your putting out lately, it's super dynamic,

mogy64 responds:

Thanks! I´ve been working to make my work feel more active, so I´m glad it´s been working out!

Me when my internets down,

I love your art so fking much. Are all of these (The moth, Nightmare Family) linked somehow? They seem like a story I'm missing out on.

P-cate responds:

I JUST REALLY LOVE VICTORIAN (or more specifically edwardnian) TIMES LMAO. There are stories, in fact, it's not the same story between this painting and the ones you said. "The moth" Is about my character, Everett, and his story is ubicated somewhere near 1925. Nightmare family is around 1890. This guy...hmmm.,might be around 1870. Although this guy doesn't have much of a story or personality, the other two do though.

Total eye candy. Your style is so clean and style-ly. :^]
